Isabella Zaydov

A pre-medical student from Staten Island driven by an early and enduring passion for medicine — from a radiology internship at 14 to a life shaped by art, music, sport, and service.

Where medicine, creativity, and discipline meet.

About Me

I'm Isabella Zaydov, a pre-medical student whose curiosity was set in motion early. At fourteen, I stepped into a radiology internship — an experience that turned a childhood interest in medicine into a clear direction for my future. Since then, I've built a life that balances scientific rigor with creative expression and physical discipline.

My academic path is rooted in the sciences, with an all-honors record, biomedical coursework, and AP classes. But medicine has never been my only language. I've spent nearly a decade making art, years performing as a clarinetist and vocalist, and countless hours on the tennis court, in the boxing gym, and volunteering across my community.

What ties it all together is a belief that the best physicians are well-rounded people — attentive, creative, disciplined, and deeply human. That's the kind of doctor I hope to become.

Academics

My education is the foundation of everything I do. I've maintained an all-honors course load while challenging myself with advanced and college-level classes.

Highlights

  • 4.0 GPA (97.8) in 9th grade

  • All-Honors coursework in both 9th and 10th grade

  • Biomedical Science (9th grade)

  • AP World History and AP Art (10th grade)

My academic focus reflects a dual passion: the analytical precision of the sciences and the creative depth of the arts.

Medicine & Clinical Experience

Medicine has been my north star from a young age. At fourteen, I was accepted into a radiology internship — a rare opportunity to step inside a clinical environment years before most students ever do.
